Integrated Yoga and Energy Healing | ***NEW*** These healing sessions are designed to support you in the areas of your life where you need it most- whether you're going through a transition, on the verge of a big shift, need restoration, or are just feeling stuck. Sessions combine Reiki (healing touch), and supported Yin & Restorative yoga postures. Sessions begin with a thorough 20 minute check-in that allow us to lay out a practice that will enhance and integrate the energy work. Sessions could include use of essential oils, mantra, mudra and oracle cards.
Rest and Renew | Relax with me! Enjoy a soothing and calming session geared towards both grounding and opening the mind and body. This session varies based on the individual’s need but may include: soft and fluid movement, gentle dance, yin and restorative postures, the use of essential oils, guided visualization, meditation on passages that present themselves throughout the session, guided deep relaxation, and Reiki during savasana. Yoga 101 | Allow me to help you dive into this wonderful world! It’s all around! New to the practice? Have you been to a few classes and aren’t quite sure what instructors are talking about when they tell you to lift your pelvis? puff your kidneys? let your anus blossom (what?!?!). Have you done sun salutations, but just can’t quite figure out that plank-to-chaturanga-to-updog thing? These sessions consist of simply real people and zero stupid questions. We can go over the basics of yoga philosophy, basic yoga postures, practice modifications for sun salutations and experiment with different styles of yoga so that you can figure out a practice that works for you. I prefer to do these sessions in a series of four, but can make modifications based on individual needs.
Home Practice Design | These sessions are fun and creative. We chat about what you’re looking to manifest in your life and practice. We’ll then work together through experimentation to create rituals and practices that you can begin folding into your life. The final product? Possibilities are endless: we may explore creating alters and daily rituals that serve your needs and desire; we may explore meditative movement, meditation, and breath work appropriate for your journey; we could explore ways for you to journal, doodle, chant, or dance in ways that fully expresses your light. Let's figure out how you can settle into the essence of who you are!
Therapeutic Yoga| Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years to heal and nurture the mind, body and spirit. I’m not a doctor and personally do not have cures for your ailments, but I love to share various tools you can fold into your days to support your healing. I have training in yoga therapeutics for the physical body: back, neck and shoulders, arthritis, and fatigue; as well as the mind: anxiety, depression and insomnia. These sessions are gentle and you will leave with a handout outlining the customized practice I create for you.
Yoga Nidra with Art | Have a question related to transitions in your life you'd like to explore? Do you feel like you know the answers but have a difficult time accessing your inner wisdom? Is it difficult for you to just slow down and listen? Yoga Nidra is rooted in ancient Hindu and Buddhist traditions and has been practiced for thousands of years to clear the mind and relax the body. This guided meditation brings practitioners into a sleep-like state while still maintaining full-consciousness. This practice is done lying comfortably on your back and involves guiding awareness throughout the body, breath awareness and visualization. I’ll create a customized session for you. Upon returning to the waking state we’ll use journaling and/or artwork to map the body and process the experience. No art skills or experience necessary!
